Cancer is one of the leading causes of death among humans and it alone covered around 10 million deaths in 2020. It may be a bitter pill to swallow, but the last resort of cancer is death. When you are in a state of cancer or perhaps you have defeated cancer, you are only secure for a short period. It may be days, months, or years but the last station of your life will be a death caused by or influenced by cancer.

There are many ways to avert cancer, but the following are the 4 most efficient ways to shut off cancer, before or after, the early stages to be alive and kicking.

Quit Tobacco Consumption

Tobacco consumption through various types causes many types of cancer. Consumption through smoking is one of the main types of engulfing tobacco. It can cause cancer of the lungs, mouth, throat, and esophagus. Lung cancer was responsible for 1.79 million deaths in 2020.

Cigarettes or other types of inhalers may contain cancerous chemicals like carcinogens and nicotine. Even passive smoking may cause severe distress to your body. Try to lower your consumption day by day.

Green vegetables can halt cancer production to a massive extent. A green diet can prevent cancer in the stomach, esophagus, lungs, oral cavity, pharynx, endometrium, pancreas, and colon. Some green vegetables include mustard greens, collard greens, spinach, and many more.

These vegetables contain specific photochemical cells, including beta carotene along with carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin, which are powerful antioxidants that play a major role in prevention.

These chemicals act as inhibitors and inhibit cancer production enzymes and are being used as potent anti-cancer drugs.

Avoid Risky Behavior

The risk of cancer can be significantly reduced by avoiding some risky or serious acts. Following are some of the main risky steps you should avoid taking.

Avoid Sun

If you have sensitive skin or you are in the early stages of skin cancer, then you should avert from going under the sun from 10 am to 4 pm when the sun is at its fullest. Or use some up-to-standard sunblock of SPF 15 and no lower than SPF 20 that shields from UVA and UVB radiation

Avoid other Infections

You should do safe intercourse with your partner and ward off yourself from STDs as much as you can. Because some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are also accountable for cancer. One of them is HPV which is responsible for cervical cancer.

Lose your weight

Obesity is one of the rising problems of the world. In 2016 more than 1.9 billion people were overweight and out of 650 million were obese.

Out of many diseases attributed to obesity Cancer is also one of them. About 4 to 8 % of cancers are caused by obesity. It will take time to lose weight but it is worth a shot.
